I don't know if he's exactly worth all emotional trauma he puts Ivy Pennignton through - he's suspicious to the point of paranoia, jealous and downright nasty a lot of the time, eaten up with little boy insecurities that she's cheating on him. he burns up the pages like it's no body's business. ![]() As for the hero, Vincent D'Ambruzzi, oh my. I was freaked out and on the edge of my seat (figuratively) the whole time. This aspect of the book was well handled. ![]() There's a very scary serial rapist on the loose. I don't read much romantic suspense, but I imagine this is how they should be done and it seems like Anderson is at the top of her game here. ![]()
